Some major changes...

Hi all,

I've been working long hours trying to get everything just right. It's taking a lot of work but it's definitely starting to get to the stage where I want it to be. If you want to have a look you can visit the krmaa home page. If you want to see all the changes, you'll have to register but it's well worth the effort. Starting community like this can take some time, but I've never had so much enthusiasm for a project as this one.

I'll stop jabbering now and get back to the exciting stuff.

Here's a quick list of the things you could do with an account at krmaa:

  • Write your own custom pages
  • Have your own blog
  • Build up a network of friends who can help you achieve your goals
  • upload some photo's you've found of your goals
  • start to head in the right direction towards achieving your goals!
I'll leave it there for now. Go and have a look for yourself! Here's one more link.

An updated goal setting network

Hi all,

Just thought I'd post a quick litle message to let everyone know that I've just spent all of today erbuilding the entire website from the ground up. I used completely new software which allowed me to increase the security and include some nice new features which I'm sure you'll like.

You can check out the facelift at www.krmaa.com

Have a great day!

What are goals?

Sounds like a stupid question doesn't it?
If you asked 10 people what they thought goals were, I don't doubt you would get 10 different answers. Most people have a pretty good idea what goals are all about but most have no idea how to explain it to someone else.

The most decisive and bluntly put way of describing goals is one I found in the merriam-webster online dictionary:

"the end toward which effort is directed"

What this says to me is the goal is the ending. It's the completion of a process which results in a the successful realisation of a dream. Doesn't that mean we should be concentrating on the process?

Rather than ask 'what are goals?' maybe we should be asking 'how can I achieve my goals?'
I've started on a journey which I hope will help me to discover the answer to this question and it all started with an accidental discovery. Some open source social networking software called Elgg which has somehow led me down a twisted path and now I just can't seem to stop myself from walking.

If you want to have a look at where this journey's taken me so far, or if you feel you might be walking the same path, come and join me at www.krmaa.com
